Understanding the message your clothing conveys and taking advantage of dress as a medium for communication and conscious identity construction is powerful.

Working in a male dominated industry, Brooke came to realize that how she was taught, told, and expected to present herself mirrored how men in professional settings dress. Brooke made a conscious decision to present herself in stark contrast to the masculine expectations by dressing explicitly feminine in her workplace. The underlying basis for how she presents herself in her professional setting has a strong roots in feminism.

Sharing her own experience and continuing to work against the notion of masculine professionalism, Brooke has created The Monday Best - a modern, progressive, and in-touch workwear resource to inspire women to express their personal likes, values, and beliefs through their clothing, specifically in the workplace.

Is your clothing an authentic outward reflection of you values or is it a reflection of the expectations that have been placed on you by others?  Join us on JANUARY 20TH, 2020 to deep dive into an analysis of what impacts our clothing choices, what these choices can communicate to our world, and discover the importance of outwardly conveying your true self despite the expectations of others.
